The LFR Imagebank has been established to provide a rich visual resource to supplement learning and teaching in the faculty. Images are not protected by copyright: students, staff and visitors are welcome to download them for use in assignments and presentations. Please acknowledge the source.

800+ oblique, low-altitude aerial photograhs over central Victoria. From Essendon airport across Melbourne to Mt Hotham; down the Ovens River to the Murray; west to Echuca, south above the Campaspe River to Lake Eppalock; return to Essendon.

Fly the Rivers in a Minute (John Perkins)
Four small web-streaming videos of sequential still images from the Aerial Photo Imagebank - rapid summaries of landuse patterns along three rivers, plus the Victorian Alps. Most videos are only 2 - 4 Mb in size and download quickly.
Cultural Landscapes (Val Pollard, John Perkins, Velga Lapins)
A collection of 90+ images and study notes, presented to students in the Australian Rural Landscapes subject. Discusses rural landscapes under four headings: Evolving; Perceptions; Classifying; Interpreting.
Burley Gardens Virtual Tour (Rob Buttrose)
A virtual reality visit to a number of sites in the historic Burnley Gardens. Use your mouse to pan, tilt, swivel and zoom. Explore the garden from many angles.
